Close to nature hotel

The hotel was located in "the jungle" on the edge of lush trees. Villa consists of two parts, one of which was so called. open-air section of a bath, toilet and changing facilities and another section was air-conditioned bedroom with a bed, battery box, TV and stereo equipped. Villa was clean, but the closeness to nature gave their stamp of his residence. A lot of insects and even the monkeys in trees! The service was friendly and breakfast daily, served in the dining room.

Green & comfortable

From the first day of our holiday we knew booking the Tropical Herbal resort was a good decision. The place is located just 15mins from beach and the walk is lined with charming shops and eating places, making it fun to just walk down from the resort for evening snacks. The resort by itself is beautiful. You might have to get used to the open-air bath tubs (they have other options too) but its lovely and green. This was my first time in a boutique resort and I have become a fan of the concept. The staff is very helpful and friendly and sincerely tried to make the stay pleasant for us (including quickly packing our b'fast when we were getting late for the morning day-tour). Ms. Wan at the reception was extremely helpful and a very nice person. Overall, lovely place and lovely people.

Perfect vacation place

Normally I don't write reviews but in this case I have to make an exception.

If you are looking for a truly amazing place to go on vacation, a place were everything is cheap, the weather is beautiful all the time and the natives are friendly, Ao Nang Beach, Krabi in Thailand is the perfect choice.
My opinion is weighing heavenly on our amazing stay at The Tropical Herbal Spa & Resort in Ao Nang Beach. This place offers everything equivalent to a five star hotel. When I'm comparing it to a five star hotel I'm talking about the staff. They will attend to your EVERY need and make it their personal mission to make your stay truly amazing. When my family and I arrived, we were greeted with refreshing towels at the front desk. While our suitcase were taking to our room and the rooms were made ready with fresh flowers etc., we were offered a freshly made welcome drink. This is a resort that at their maximum capacity have 9 couples/families to accommodate. But this is not the only reason you feel like a royalty, the people working there takes the credit for that. The only thing that is not equivalent to a five star hotel is the price :). The setting of the hotel is beautiful. The villas are placed in a jungle-setting and are decorated and designed individually charming. The resort offers private spa treatments, pool area, room service, wireless Internet anywhere at the resort and lets not forget the most amazing breakfast. Every day you will chose from a long list, the items you want for breakfast the following day and whether you want it served in your room or enjoy it at the restaurant. Do you chose to eat at the restaurant they will cook it anyway you please while you are sitting at the table.

Tropical Herbal Spa & Resort is a heavenly place with an amazing staff and I warmly recommend it for an amazing vacation.

Schöne tropische Anlage und tolle Massagen

Die Zimmer sind groß und sauber. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Für ein paar Nächte auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen.
Nachteil: Das Hotel liegt etwas abgeschieden, dafür ist es sehr ruhig.
