Fantasic

Stayed at the Santiburi for 7 nights and loved every minute. The resort is fantastic for families with kids with good facilities from a large pool, kids club, tennis and squash courts, golf chipping range, table tennis, and the like. On the beach they have kayaking, sailing, fishing. The beach is nice and quiet with not much around. They also have a library with books and two computers with high speed internet to surf, check mails, etc. The restaurants they have are good priced for a hotel in this class. There are some restaurants on the beach and on the street outside the hotel and on every thursday from 4pm there a nice market near the temple, about 500m from the hotel with many foodstands and grills. Very nice!

Amazing place

We travelled with 2 kids aged 5 and 4 and booked a garden villa with plunge pool. The room was nice and large with a large bathroom, and a sofa which converts into a bed where even an adult can sleep. The plunge pool has a jacuzzi as well and very private. The grounds are so spacious with hundreds of trees and plants and our villa was like a home from home. The staff are wonderful, nothing is too much trouble and as returning guests we were made to feel really special. If you want to eat out their recommendations are excellent and they make all the arrangements including providing the transport in a hotel mini bus.
